The Detroit Lions put themselves in a still viable playoff position on rumble soles. As of Week 15, it’s not possible on its own, but the form curve (W6 in last 7 games) and schedule remaining (@CAR, CHI, and @GB) speak for the Michigan team. You have to get past two of the trio New York Giants, Washington Commanders and Seattle Seahawks.
Six teams have a playoff ticket in hand, four more could follow over the weekend. Two teams could win their division, one could secure the first round bye.

Very little has changed in recent weeks. The top 6 have already been determined as playoff participants, the rest will be decided in the coming weeks. After the Patriots’ crazy end game against the Raiders, New England is just in the hunt, the Chargers are on their way to the playoffs, and Las Vegas still has a slim 5% underdog chance.

Over the weekend the Chargers could already buy tickets to fly into the postseason, as well as Baltimore, Cincinnati and New York Giants.
