Los Angeles (SID) – After his fourth Super Bowl victory alongside quarterback legend Tom Brady, football star Rob Gronkowski will be in the US professional league NFL for at least a year. “I’ll keep playing football. I love football,” the tight end told the TMZ gossip portal.
Gronkowski (31) had returned from retirement last season after just a year off and had joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for newcomer Brady. Together they won the title straight away, the duo had already triumphed three times with the New England Patriots.
He “loved” to play last season. “I had a great time.” Gronkowski did not explicitly say that he will continue in Tampa. But that is to be assumed. “Gronk”, who scored two touchdowns in the Super Bowl against defending champion Kansas City Chiefs (31: 9), is currently without a contract.
