Star quarterback Deshaun Watson would love to move to the New York Jets if the Houston Texans decide to trade him in the offseason.

According to what Armando Salguero reported from Miami Herald On Saturday, Watson would have a preference for the Jets due to their new head coach, Robert Saleh. Indeed, the 25-year-old pivot wanted the Texans to consider Saleh’s candidacy to fill the vacant head coach position in Houston.

The all-star player recently liked an Instagram post suggesting the Jets would have to compromise to acquire him.
Also according to the Florida daily, the Miami Dolphins would be Watson’s second choice.
The latter expressed his frustration to the Texans since they did not include him in the discussions for the hiring of a new general manager.
Additionally, the Texans have reportedly ignored Watson’s request to meet with Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy for the head coach position.
Watson has recorded a career-high 4,823 passing yards and 33 touchdown passes this season.
