Keyshawn Johnson mourns his daughter Maia. The former NFL star and TV expert speaks openly about the heavy loss.
Maia Johnson was only 25 years old. The death of NFL icon Keyshawn Johnson’s eldest daughter touches the United States. The former professional works as an ESPN expert and spoke on social media about his stroke of fate.
Johnson on Instagram: “It is with incredible sadness that I share the news of the death of my beautiful daughter Maia.” And: “We are completely exhausted and devastated. Maia, as my firstborn daughter, was the happiness of my life and that of her mother Shikiri.”
The former wide receiver gave no information about the circumstances of the far too early death. Johnson has four other children: Keyshawn Jr., London, Vance and Shyla.
In his playing days he played for the New York Jets, Dallas Cowboys, Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2003 he conquered the Super Bowl with the Buccaneers.
