The National Football League (NFL) is spreading more and more throughout the world and this year it has five international matches scheduled; that is, the teams leave the United States for regular season matches.
On this occasion, the five games will take place on European territory, three of them in the United Kingdom and the other two in Germany.
Unfortunately, Mexico will not have an NFL game this year because the Azteca Stadium, where they are held, will be undergoing renovations for the 2026 World Cup.
The NFL had previously announced that the five franchises that would be home for administrative purposes would be the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots, all from the American Conference.
The games that will be played in Europe will be: Falcons vs. Jacksonville at Wembley Stadium (London) on October 1; Jaguars vs. Bills at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London) on October 8; Ravens vs. titans in the
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London) on October 15; Dolphins vs. Chiefs at Deutsche Bank Park (Frankfurt) on November 5; and November 12, Colts vs. Patriots at Deutsche Bank Park (Frankfurt).
The NFL is very clear that it will continue to expand, which is why, in addition to promoting these games, it has added more franchises to ”The Global Markets Program”.
This program, which was launched two years ago under the name “The International Home Marketing Area”, started with 19 teams in 10 different countries and now there are 21 franchises out of 32 that make up the NFL.
