NFL: Falcons players complete vaccination schedule

The Atlanta Falcons became the first NFL team whose players completed their COVID-19 vaccination chart.

When the Falcons began their practice camp, 90% of their players were vaccinated and on Monday they confirmed that 100% were already inoculated.

The NFL announced that the Falcons are the first team to complete the vaccination chart 100%.

Atlanta becomes the first team whose players will be able to not wear a mask at the facility as well as eat and work together.

On the other hand, defensive end John Cominsky was placed on concussion protocol and will not play the preseason game this week in which Atlanta visits Miami.

Cominsky, a three-season veteran, suffered the injury in the third period of Friday night’s game in which the Falcons fell 23-2 to the Tennessee Titans. Last season, the player saw action in 13 games, two of which he started, and had 28 tackles and a quarterback sack.

The Falcons released linebacker George Obinna and offensive lineman Bryce Hargove, and made wide receiver J’Mon Moore available to other teams.

The team also made available defensive lineman John Atkins, cornerback Marcus Murphy and offensive lineman William Sweet.
