The NFL continues to rely on continuity at the top. As the North American professional football league announced on Wednesday, Commissioner Roger Goodell has agreed to a contract extension until March 2027.
The 64-year-old has been the boss of the NFL since 2006.
At the time, Goodell had succeeded Paul Tagliabue, who was retiring. Goodell started with the NFL in 1982 as an administrative intern.
Now he has extended his contract for the fourth time.
Above all, Goodell is committed to safer gaming. He was also a big advocate of marketing the league worldwide through the introduction of the NFL International Series.
