“NFL Announces Super Bowl LX in San Francisco’s Levi’s Stadium and 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin”

NFL announced on Monday that the Super Bowl LX will be played in Levi’s Stadium of Santa Clara in the metropolitan area of San Franciscoin a match that is initially scheduled to be played on February 8, 2026.

The NFL owners approved the California venue to host its second Super Bowl in its history and the first after 10 years when it hosted the Super Bowl 50.

“The Bay Area was an incredible host to Super Bowl 50, and we are thrilled to bring the Super Bowl back. We look forward to working with the 49ers and the Bay Area Host Committee to create an impactful Super Bowl LX in 2026.” showcasing all the great things the region has to offer,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Monday.

Stanford Stadium hosted Super Bowl XIX in 1985 when the San Francisco 49ers beat the Miami Dolphins to win the second Lombard Trophy of the franchise in four seasons.

NFL DRAFT 2025 WILL BE IN GREEN BAY

The league announced Monday at the Spring League Meeting that the 2025 NFL Draft has been awarded to Green BayWisconsin, home of the Packers and legendary Lambeau Field.

“The draft has become our largest offseason event hosted in a variety of cities and exciting venues across the country, and we’re excited to work with the Packers and Discover Green Bay to bring the 2025 NFL Draft to Green Bay and the iconic Lambeau Field,” the NFL commissioner said. Roger Goodell.

Green Bay will be the ninth NFL city to host the draft since the annual draft meeting turned into a road show in 2015: Chicago, Philadelphia, Arlington, Nashville, Cleveland, Las Vegas, Kansas City and Detroit, this last in 2024.

The Green Bay draft will mark the return of proceedings to the state of Wisconsin for the first time since December 1939, when the 1940 draft was held in Milwaukee at the Schroeder Hotel (now the Hilton Milwaukee City Center). The first choice? George Cafego of Tennessee to the Chicago Cardinals.
