The NFL announced this Thursday that the Chicago Bears, Jacksonville Jaguars and Minnesota Vikings will be three of the six teams that will play in the 2024 season in London, England, and the Carolina Panthers will be one of the two that will do so in Munich, Germany.
It should be noted that the names of these teams’ rivals will be announced when the official schedule for the next NFL campaign is revealed, which will happen during the spring.

The owners of each team were ready and grateful to the fans that await them.
“We owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of fans in the United Kingdom, Ireland and across Europe who have made the Jaguars their NFL team since our first home game in London in 2013,” said Jaguars owner Shad Khan. Jacksonville Jaguars, who have played 11 games in London.
“Every game the Chicago Bears play is rich in tradition, culture and passion. We hope fans in Europe will experience that richness,” said Bears owner George H. McCaskey.
“We are honored to once again represent the NFL in the ongoing effort to make football more accessible globally,” said Vikings owner Mark Wilf.
In Munich, the Allianz Arena, which hosted the first NFL game in Germany in 2022 that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won 21-16 over the Seattle Seahawks, will host the Panthers’ duel.

The other international venue announced by the NFL for the 2024 season is São Paulo, Brazil, at the Corinthians Arena, which will host the league’s first game in South America.
Will the NFL return to Mexico?
While there will not be any international matches in Mexico this year due to renovations to the Azteca Stadium for the 2026 World Cup, the league confirmed that future international games will return once this work is completed.
The internationalization of the NFL is one of the priorities that was confirmed a month ago with the approval to increase the number of international games from four to eight games per season, starting with the 2025 season.
