Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists on social media shared videos and pictures of the Brazilian star, Neymar da Silva, and his reaction when he was offered Saudi coffee upon his arrival in the Kingdom.
Activists highlighted that Neymar apparently did not drink coffee and only smelled it in the video clip that Al Hilal Saudi Club published on its official page on the X platform (formerly Twitter), while others went to shed light on holding a cup of coffee with his left hand.
The Brazilian star, Neymar da Silva, arrived on Friday evening in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, to join the Saudi club Al-Hilal, after the conclusion of an agreement between the two sides, to include him until 2025.
Neymar moved to the ranks of the “Blue Crescent” from the French club Paris Saint-Germain, in a deal worth more than $ 98 million, according to the “Transfer Market” website.
After his arrival, Neymar said: “I am here in Saudi Arabia, thank you.”
