Neymar apparently hasn’t quite digested his departure from PSG yet. He is now causing a stir with a hint that clearly goes in the direction of his former club.
Like many other players from Europe’s top leagues, Neymar followed the call of money this summer and moved to Saudi Arabia. In the service of Al-Hilal he finally feels valued, which is a spicy dig at Paris Saint-Germain.

“It’s not every day that an athlete receives a standing ovation from the opposing crowd,” Neymar wrote on social media about a picture that shows him in front of opposing fans cheering him on.
This impressive photo was taken during a game in the AFC Champions League. Neymar played there this week against Iranian FC Nassaji Mazandaran, scored a goal and ultimately won 3-0.

Neymar’s comments are seen by quite a few as an affront to PSG. In Paris there was often harsh criticism from the fans, which Neymar obviously hasn’t forgotten. The timing of publication is also interesting: Neymar uploaded the lines while PSG were playing at Newcastle United in the Champions League. PSG ended up going down 4-1.
