Neymar Set to Leave PSG for Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia for $200 Million Offer

Neymar and Paris Saint-Germain are set to go their separate ways this summer. Various media had already reported in the past few weeks that the Brazilian superstar was about to leave the French capital. Like now the US TV station CBS As reported on their website, Neymar is on the wish list of Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal. According to the report, a delegation from the 18-time champion from Riyadh has already traveled to France for talks. They want to explore whether talks about a change are worthwhile, it is said.

Al-Hilal and its owners, the Public Investment Fund (PIF), are on the hunt for a replacement for Lionel Messi, who canceled the club after two years at PSG and announced his move to Inter Miami.

How CBS further reported, Al-Hilal could lure the currently injured Neymar with an offer of 200 million dollars (around 186 million euros). This is comparable to the conditions that Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have at competitor Al-Nassr.

Neymar to Saudi Arabia for almost 42 million euros?

The 31-year-old Neymar switched from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 for the record fee of 222 million euros and still has a contract there until the summer of 2025. According to CBS the four-time winner of the Asian Champions League is said to be ready to offer PSG a fee of 45 million dollars (almost 42 million euros).

Should Al-Hilal make the transfer perfect, it would be the next spectacular move to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after Ronaldo and world footballer Karim Benzema, who will play for Al-Ittihad in the future. Neymar has not yet commented on whether he wants to stay at PSG.
