“It’s true. It’s one of my favorite things to do,” he confesses in the interview. “I think after playing soccer, I’m ready to play poker tournaments and travel.”
So far, this has seldom been possible for him due to his busy schedule. “When I finish my football career, that’s one of the things I will do,” said Neymar, looking to the future.
Neymar is “offensive like on the field” in poker
Neymar discovered his passion for poker a few years ago: “I started playing poker at the 2014 World Cup. I watched from outside and then became interested in the game. I thought it was cool how they played. I made myself fallen in love with poker over the years. “
At the poker table, Neymar follows a similar strategy as on the football field. “I’m offensive like on the field. A friend (…) has helped me develop my game and taught me a lot of things. And over time I’ve learned more to be an aggressive player.”
