Neymar red card, Mbappé on penalty PSG win

Paris Saint-Germain Dramatic win against Strasbourg in Ligue 1 continued. PSG won 2-1 on penalties Kylian Mbappe at the end of the match in a game marked by a red card for Neymar.

Neymar received a second yellow card just one minute after his first yellow card. The referee showed a yellow card for the second time after sentencing Neymar for diving in the Strasbourg penalty area.

The referee’s decision was met with strong protests from PSG players. Neymar and his teammates surrounded the referee, but the on-field referee stood by his decision.

PSG got a penalty in added time, precisely at 90+4′. The referee pointed to the penalty spot after Mbappe was fouled by Nyamsi. Mbappe successfully fulfilled his duties by giving PSG a 2-1 lead.

This is PSG’s sixth straight Ligue 1 win. The Parisiens sit comfortably at the top of the Ligue 1 table on 44 points from 16 games, eight points clear of second-placed RC Lens.
