Neymar Jr. faces PUBG partners in the PUBG: Battlegrounds Deston Rise event today.

The soccer superstar Neymar Jr. will participate with his team in the Deston Rise live stream event on August 3rd from 5:30pm to 7pm as part of the partnership with PUBG: Battlegrounds by KRAFTON, Inc.
He and his team will pit their skills against several other PUBG partners on the newly released Deston map. In addition to live streaming of the event on the official twitch channel From PUBG: Battlegrounds, Neymar Jr. will take part in various on-site activities in Paris to influence certain rules of the Deston Rise event – for example, which items Neymar Jr. can use and which items or equipment other squads can use during the challenges can use or not.
During the Deston Rise event, Neymar Jr. and his team will compete in two different challenges: Neymar Jr.’s Squad versus Everyone: Lodge Defense for two matches and PUBG: Battlegrounds BR Match for one match.
It is within the challenges that Neymar Jr. will demonstrate his footballing prowess and potentially change the course of the battles he encounters.
Below is an overview of the challenges Neymar Jr. will face during the event. There is more information about the event here.
Neymar Jr.’s Squad vs Everyone: Lodge Defense
In the first challenge, Neymar Jr.’s team competes against all other players, with Neymar Jr. tasked with defending the Point-of-Interest (POI) Lodge in Deston. The challenge will be played in TPP with team Neymar Jr. against seven other PUBG partner teams. Neymar Jr.’s team is only allowed to loot in the Lodge area, with the goal being simple: defend it. At least one member of the team must remain alive. The challenge runs over two matches and the rules are as follows:
- Neymar Jr. and his team are only allowed to loot the Lodge area.
- All other partner streamers are allowed to loot anywhere else in Deston.
- The only weapons allowed are – 1) melee weapons,
2) crossbow and 3) pistols. - Tactical gear, health and boost items may be used.

- The bluezone is centered to lie around the Lodge area.
- There will be an on-site activity where Neymar Jr. can use a soccer goal to spawn desired weapons and items in Lodge.
PUBG: Battlegrounds BR Match
The second and final challenge will feature the regular PUBG: Battlegrounds battle royale format – albeit with a twist. Neymar Jr.’s team and seven other PUBG partner teams will drop in Deston for one game using the ruleset below:
- Only level 1 gear (helmet/backpack/vest) will spawn in Deston.
- The GM with access to Sandbox mode can manually grant level 3 gears as well as self-AED to Neymar Jr.
- A Neymar Jr. live football goal can be used to hinder other PUBG partner teams (e.g. which weapons or items are not allowed or must be used).
During the live stream on the official PUBG: Battlegrounds Twitch channel, viewers who follow the broadcast can win special rewards in a prize draw. The draw will be run by Neymar Jr. and PUBG: Battlegrounds.
Deston Summer Tour
In addition, the last week of the Deston Summer Tour events. PC and console gamers can take a screenshot or video of themselves posing on Deston in an area of their choice. Players can then upload them to their Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook accounts, providing their in-game nickname, game platform, and “#DestonSummerTour”. 500 randomly selected winners from the entries submitted will receive souvenirs: 1,000 G-COIN and a Deston Tour spray.
