PSG’s Neymar congratulates Real Madrid players Casemiro and Vinicius Junior on their recent Champions League success as they rejoined them on international duties.
Real Madrid defeated Liverpool in the Champions League final on 28 May to win their record-breaking 14th European Cup.
Vinicius Junior made the difference in the final against Liverpool as Klopp’s men tried harder and harder but couldn’t find a way to score as Courtois made some great saves to thwart Liverpool’s striker.
Brazilian Casemiro played a crucial role in breaking Liverpool’s attack and getting the ball back into circulation for Real Madrid. His work always stays under the radar, but his teammates appreciate his role as it gives them security and tactical stability to control the game.
Casemiro and Vinicius, who are now with the Brazil national team, were welcomed by Brazil teammate and captain Neymar for their recent success.
Neymar, himself a one-time winner with Barcelona, knows what it means to win Europe’s premier competition and congratulated Vinicius Junior on the winning goal.
Brazil meet South Korea and Japan in their recent friendlies, which begin on June 2nd. Many older players are expected to be rested with young blood to get more minutes as they try to impress boss Tite into booking their seat on November’s flight to Qatar.

Neymar’s future at PSG remains uncertain following Kylian Mbappe’s contract extension
There have been recent reports of the possibility that the Ligue 1 side might be open to selling Neymar Jr this summer, but he has denied those reports and has not heard the rumors of his possible exit from the club.
„For my part, I want to stay (at PSG). Nobody told me anything but on mine side, I want to stay” said Neymar Jr.
However, L’Équipe have reported that Paris would be willing to sell the Brazilian if the right offer arrives, while Kylian Mbappé wouldn’t mind Neymar’s departure either.
European giants Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich have no interest in signing the 30-year-old at Newcastle, the only club who could afford him, and Neymar would not necessarily be keen on moving to northern England switch.
