BRATISLAVA – The Brazilian representative Neymar suffered an ankle injury in February, which sidelined him for several months, and he will not play again in the current season.
The well-known football player of Paris PSG spends his time playing online poker, playing Counter-Strike or live streaming on social networks, where Neymar is watched by millions of people from all over the world.
In a recent video, the 31-year-old striker showed on live broadcast how he lost 880 thousand pounds, which is approximately 1 million euros. Neymar was unlucky with cards and the former Barcelona star lost an incredible amount at one point. The Brazilian then made minor complaints, but that didn’t help him anymore, since the money was a waste. Some fans criticize him for such behavior.
PSG manager Christophe Galtier answered reporters’ questions about Neymar playing poker just a day after the Champions League loss to Bayern Munich.
“I spoke to Neymar. I told him what I thought. Neymar has the right to do what he wants on his day off. If he is passionate about poker, he has the right to play poker.” Galtier stated.
On the other hand, according to the Spanish periodical Marca, Neymar earns around 70 million euros per year, so he will definitely take a breather from this loss. However, it is not the best example for young people.
