Fifa announced today the finalists for The Best award, which will be handed out on the 23rd.
- Among the main names are: Benzema, current Golden Ball, in addition to Lewandowski, Sadio Mané, Kylian Mbappé, Mohamed Salah and Lionel Messi;
- The list also has young names that stood out in the World Cupsuch as Julián Álvarez, Jude Bellingham, as well as great prospects in world football, such as Erling Haaland.
- Marta, a six-time winner of the award, and Cristiano Ronaldo, a five-time winner, were not nominated.unlike previous years;
- Among Brazilians, only Neymar and Vini Jr. compete in the men’s categorywhile Debinha is the only one in the female category.
