DUBAI: Next year’s public and private sector holidays have been announced in the UAE. The public holidays are January 1 (New Year), April 20 to 23 (Minor Festival), June 27 to 30 (BaliPerunnal), July 21 (beginning of Hijra year) and September 29 (Nabi Day).
Some avadi days and ghosa days may change depending on the moonrise. Since the weekend holiday also falls with Baliperunnal, there could be up to six consecutive days of holiday. The holiday was announced by the UAE Cabinet.
