The Xbox Games Showcase, which starts on July 23 at 6:00 PM, will be introduced by a pre-show. And although these usually only yield tidbits and small revelations, this time it will contain some ” world premieres ”. This can be read in a Tweet by Geoff Keighley, who will present the event.
We don’t know exactly what this means, but what we do know is that this edition is all about first-party titles. So we should not expect an Ubisoft or Electronic Arts to show up. Halo will also not be in the pre-show, as his campaign will be important in the main show. Finally, we can exclude hardware and service announcements, as Microsoft has already said this explicitly. So what’s coming? We’ll see it from 5:00 PM!
Next Thursday, join me for a special Xbox Games Showcase pre show on @YouTubeGaming with additional world premieres! Live at 11 am ET / 8 am PT, plus @Halo Infinite campaign reveal in the showcase. #SummerGameFest pic.twitter.com/1ui9oUYh7n
