Next week it is launched, this is how to check BLT for BPJS Employment participants

KONTAN.CO.ID – Jakarta. The Social Security Administration / BPJS Ketenagakerjaan recorded that they had already pocketed 13.6 million account numbers of prospective recipients of salary subsidy assistance for employees. The plan is for the account to distribute aid of Rp. 600 thousand per month.

The assistance is direct cash assistance / BLT for private employees and employees of non-PNS government agencies with a salary of under Rp. 5 million. President Jokowi is scheduled to launch the aid of Rp. 600 thousand or BLT for the employees next week.

The Rp. 600 thousand assistance is a subsidy from the government for private employees and non-PNS government employees with a salary of under Rp. 5 million per month. Another requirement for the employee’s BLT recipient is to be an active participant at BP Jamsostek at least as of June 2020.

Then, prospective recipients of Rp. 600 thousand assistance must have an active account number at the bank. This is because the employee’s BLT will be transferred directly to the recipient.

This August, assistance of Rp. 600 thousand for employees was provided for the August and September assistance periods. Then, employee BLT for employees from November to December will be paid in September.

Thus, for each employee BLT payment, the recipient received a fund transfer of IDR 1.2 million. In total, the amount of assistance of Rp. 600 thousand for employees is Rp. 2.4 million.

To make sure you will get Rp. 600 thousand assistance or not, simply ask the HR department in the office where you work. The reason is, in distributing BLT for employees with salaries below Rp. 5 million, the government asked the HRD of each company to play an active role.

HRD must send data on employees with salaries under Rp. 5 million to BPJS Ketenagakerjaan for Rp 600 thousand in aid. The data sent includes the account number, so that later the Ministry of Manpower through BPJS Ketenagakerjaan will transfer the employee’s BLT to the recipient directly.

So, if you feel you meet the requirements to get employee BLT, please ask the HRD at the office whether it has been registered with BP Jamsostek or not.
