EU Foreign Affairs Spokesperson Peter Stano said on Thursday (April 6) that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Affairs Borrell will visit China from April 13 to 15.

EU foreign affairs spokesman Peter Stano said on Thursday (April 6) that Borrell will visit China from April 13 to 15.
French President Emmanuel Macron and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen are currently in China, urging Beijing to use its influence with Russia to help end the war in Ukraine.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez visited Beijing last week.
EU foreign affairs and security chief Borrell said last month he would visit China “soon”. He also said at the time,Beijing’s friendship with Moscow has a limit, despite official statements to the contrary.He said that although China and Russia have establishedClose Economic and Diplomatic Relationsbut it did not form a military alliance with Moscow, nor did it provide weapons to help Russia in the war waged in Ukraine. “This unlimited friendship seems to have some limits.”
