‘Next season I want to go abroad again and maybe that will be at PSV’

Michal Sadílek is back in his element with Slovan Liberec in the Czech league. The midfielder has been hired from PSV, but misses the club.

Despite the fact that the people from Eindhoven decided to rent him out, the Czech still has warm feelings for the club. “It has always been a great honor for me to play for PSV,” he told it Eindhovens Dagblad. “I did what I was asked to do and fought hard for the team. Every minute of the day I was ready to play for PSV and I am very proud to wear the shirt.”

That sounds like Sadílek will not return to Eindhoven next season, but a choice has not yet been made, according to the small midfielder. Technical manager John de Jong keeps an eye on the operations of Slovan and the mercenary. “Next season I want to play outside the Czech Republic again anyway and whether that will be with PSV, remains to be seen”, says the left leg.

This season, 21-year-old Sadílek played in fifteen league matches for Slovan, which is second-topper in the Czech league. He has scored three goals so far, a number that he has not yet achieved in 27 Premier League matches for PSV.
