Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, FDG Entertainment and developer Game Atelier say.
These versions of the game support native 4K en 120 frames per seconde via HDMI 2.1. FGD Entertainment let also know that it may use exclusive features of the DualSense controller, but in what way is not yet clear.
It is not yet known when the game will be released on the next generation of consoles, but owners of the PS4 or Xbox One version can download the next-gen version for free in the form of a update.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has previously been released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, Steam and GOG. It is a spiritual successor to the classic Wonder Boy series, of which a new part is also being developed in the form of Wonder Boy: Asha in Monster World.
