In order to avoid waiting times and to welcome donors in the best possible sanitary conditions, Breton blood drives now take place by appointment. To register, even at the last minute: dondesang.efs.sante.fr > “Online appointment” section or on the “Blood donation” application.
Measures put in place to protect donors, EFS staff and community volunteers There is no risk of transmission of Covid 19 by transfusion and all precautionary measures are implemented at all donation sites to avoid the risk of transmission of the virus: wearing a mask compulsory for all, application of the rules of distancing and reinforced hygiene.
Donors are also requested to: not come accompanied by a person who does not donate blood, wear the mask that will be given to them at the reception, respect a minimum distance of one meter between donors, respect barrier gestures.

To give
Be between 18 and 70 years old and weigh at least 50 kg, have no flu-like symptoms, have an identity document, people who have shown symptoms of Covid must wait 28 days after the symptoms have disappeared to donate blood .
