Health specialties accredit the psychiatry program at Riyadh’s Erada complex
The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties has renewed the recognition of the general psychiatry program at the Irada and the Riyadh Mental Health Complex for the next 4 years, starting October 1, 2022 and ending September 30, 2026 AD. The Authority increased the maximum capacity of the program by 100%, bringing the number of seats allocated to it to 32.
The executive director of the complex, Dr Muhammad bin Mashouf Al-Qahtani, appreciated the confidence of the Saudi Health Specialty Commission overall, the training programs provided overall, the experienced human cadres and resources contained therein, noting that the program is one of the overall commission approved training programs, which includes a diploma in clinical pharmacy, a subspecialty program in addiction psychiatry.
He explained that the complex has obtained “institutional accreditation”, which is the highest accreditation granted by the authority to health facilities in the field of mental health, expressing his pride in the efforts made by the specialists of the complex to develop psychiatry, the addiction medicine and other mental health services.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Qahtani pointed out that the complex is one of the specialized medical buildings in the field of mental health, which has taken on the development of health services in this specialty through its various programs, development and improvement projects and its experiences. for the benefit of members of this specialty, authorities and individuals, at local and regional level.
