A man was arrested this Wednesday morning (19), after invading residents’ homes and threatening them with a knife, in the district of Casa Nova, municipality of Ourolândia. The criminal was looking for his 15-year-old daughter, who reported him for sexual abuse.
The minor went to a relative’s house and was not found by her father. Teams from the 24th Independent Military Police Company (CIPM/Jacobina) captured the individual.
According to civil police investigator Edvaldo Santiago, an inquiry was launched into the abuse complaint.
“The girl came to the police station accompanied by guardianship counselors to register the occurrence. She told that her father used to beat and abuse her, since she was seven years old”, reported the investigator.
