Teams from the Police Station for the Repression of Vehicle Thefts (DRFRV) seized, this Friday (30), almost 14 kg of cocaine inside a car that was being monitored by the police of the unit. The car was in a mechanical workshop in Cajazeiras IV.
DRFRV investigations point out that the car was used in several robberies in Salvador in recent months. With the monitoring and in the face of the suspicion that the vehicle was in the garage, the teams were on site and found the drug.
The head of the unit, delegate Maurício Moradillo, explains that the investigation will continue, in search of the identification of the vehicle, its true owner and those who used it to commit crimes. “The mechanic has nothing to do with the story. Our investigation will now continue with the alleged owner of the car, who may be a clone,” he declared.
The vehicle and the drug will be forwarded to the Technical Police Department, whose expertise will assist in the investigation of the case.
