The new headquarters of the Military Police College in Lobato was handed over this Thursday (10th) to the population of Salvador. The rooms are air-conditioned, the space has laboratories, a sports court and an Olympic swimming pool, among other innovations. The unit has the capacity to serve more than a thousand high school and elementary school students.
Two multipurpose rooms at the school provide an inclusive and adaptable space. The new CPM Lobato unit also includes a theater with capacity for 200 people and a library. For the practice of physical activities, the college has an indoor multi-sports court, a soccer field and a semi-Olympic swimming pool.
The investment was R$ 23.3 million, in a partnership between the Bahia State Department of Education (SEC) and the Bahia State Urban Development Company (Conder).
Among other authorities, Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues and Colonel Coutinho, commander of the Military Police, participated in the ceremony.
