Famous for his roles in Globo soap operas, actor Sidney Sampaio, 43, was rescued by the Rio de Janeiro Fire Department after falling from a hotel window, located in Copacabana, this Friday morning (4).

The artist was staying at the accommodation, and a mess would have started inside the hotel room, according to information from the RJ General Balance Sheet. Sampaio would have broken into the room he was accommodated around four in the morning.

In the video that circulates on social networks, it is possible to see the firefighters arriving in time to help the artist, but Sidney falls on the sidewalk before being caught in the arms of the military.

He was taken to Miguel Couto Hospital, in Leblon, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Sidney suffered body fractures, but with no indication for surgery. According to g1, the artist is “stable”. The case will be investigated by the 13th DP (Ipanema).

With more than 12 productions of soap operas and films, Sidney became known for having made successful plots on Globo, such as Salve Jorge, Caras & Bocas, Sete Pecados, in addition to having starred in biblical soap operas on Record, such as Os Dez Mandamentos.
