A 12-year-old child was rescued in Asa Norte, in the Federal District, after being kidnapped on her way back from school, on the afternoon of this Wednesday, 28, in the Jardim Ingá region, in Goiás.

According to information from Correio Braziliense, the girl was approached by a man, identified as Daniel Moraes Bittar, who was driving a black car. In report, the victim claimed that the man surrendered her with a knife and that a woman was also in the vehicle.

The child was doped and placed inside a suitcase. The kidnappers took the victim to an apartment located in the 411 Norte region. There, the girl was raped and held hostage.

According to Metrópoles, the girl is the niece of a military police officer from Goiás. With the child’s disappearance, the victim’s uncle called the PM’s Intelligence Service, which began the search. Footage from security cameras showed the car described by witnesses.

From the license plate of the vehicle and contact with the Military Police of the Federal District, the military located the residence of the kidnappers. At the scene, Daniel Bittar confessed to having kidnapped the girl, who was handcuffed by her feet in a room, according to the PM.

According to information from the 3rd Battalion’s Tactical Operational Group, the child was found half-naked and with bruises on her body. The man would also have filmed the rape and sent it to the woman who participated in the kidnapping. The suspect has not yet been identified and located by officers.

In the apartment, the police found shock machines, cameras, sexual objects and pornographic material, as well as a greenhouse for producing marijuana and a gallon of chloroform.

Daniel Bittar, who is an IT analyst at a bank in Brasília, was arrested red-handed. On social media, the man even published, in October 2022, a campaign to combat pedophilia. The image shared by the man had the phrase: “Did you paint a climate? No. Pedophilia is a crime”.

The victim was sent to the Instituto Médico Legal to undergo a medical examination. The 5th Civil Police Station of the DF is investigating the case.
