Defender Tim Berni (20) will leave the ZSC Lions to try his luck in the NHL. He has indeed signed up for three years, via a training contract, with the Columbus Blue Jackets. He was drafted in the 6th round (159th in total) in the 2018 Draft.
Berni will find in Ohio another Swiss defender, Dean Kukan, who has been playing there since the 2015-2016 season. In the last season, he totaled 11 points in 45 National League games.
