– I register that the commentators have made an assessment and do not really think much about it, but it is good to have something to reach for, says Minister of Justice and Emergency Management Emilie Enger Mehl (Sp) to Dagbladet.
On Thursday, Dagbladet’s commentator department Mehl rolled the dice for his efforts during the first six months as Minister of Justice in the Støre government.
– I learned at company Lauritzen that it can always get worse. So it was at least good that I did not get one, because then maybe it would not have been completely true, says a laughing Mehl.
– I am aware that I strongly disagree with the management department in Dagbladet when it comes to centralization of the courts, so it is not so surprising that we consider the case differently. But it is nice that I am still the desk’s favorite, adds a joking Minister of Justice.
Mehl lists a large number of issues she is happy with.
– I have worked a lot with emergency preparedness, strengthening the police, we have strengthened the civil defense, NSM, the list is long. For me, it is important to have a broad view, says Mehl.
