Sacred route in relay 97km 1600m + 81 starts
5th | Steeven PAILLEUX – Alexandre LAIGLE | 8h40’53 |
St. Reims route: relay 1
I set the pace, feeling that I was going a little fast to see how long the legs could hold.
The sections in the noses put me down quite a bit and I broke my legs but overall a good race and a better course than last year.
Corridor a Alasdair Laigle in 5th position of the relay teams. Strength to him 👊💪 STEVEN
Saint Reims route: relay 2
Steve Pailleux reaching the relay field with 5th place, we had to fight to keep it 😅.
Hydration needs to be reviewed, my legs feel like wood…
Les mal-en-point team, 5th in the Sacré Trail in the 2024 relay.
Well marked course and very caring volunteers ALEXANDRE

Great participation from the Club in this Reims Champagne Run, lots of laughs, lots of good performances and broken records (some disappointments too) despite the projected distance of around 200m (average of our GPS), which represents 1′ more for those who finish 1h45′ and more for those who are slower.

A little look back at a busy weekend.
Friday afternoon 5 hours of walking to mark the sections La Poterne / Hautvillers on the Sacre Route.
I underestimated the task a bit and was not able to finish to Germaine, so on Saturday morning I had to be up at 6am to finish the last 10 km between Hautvillers and Germaine.
Once this task is complete, return to the poster to redo the path to see if the markings were done well.
After doing this research and I hope it was for the participants, I returned on foot to La Poterne and went out with my friend Alex Diot to make a 26 km wire link ..
So over 2 days 66km of trail walking
And to finish the Reims 10km…. I hesitated a lot before starting because of a lot of pain in my shins, but I decided to go anyway to take Antonin to the top.
Eventually my legs slowly returned and I finished in 37min50
Sunday fun with the family my little wife did a very nice time of 1h53 in the half marathon, Antonin after 1 month of injury and 10 days of school trips to England came out with a very good time of 38min16 NICHOLAS

Good for the first 13 km and after that no joy. 🥵🥵
As for my race, I did my best time on the 10km and the half.
Thank you coach and friends of the JCE.WINTER VALUABLE
I tried and failed 🤣 but I still have great feelings over the first 15 kilos. FABRICATION CABIN
Satisfied with the time with 3 hours of sleep 😴 but still far from the goal at 1h35! ADHERE SCHAEFER
1st semester, great course and above all proud of myself🤩 LUCY
Planned in 6’/km but from kilometer 3 I feel that I am going faster at a speed that I did not know well! Harder than 14th but normal with lots of fake ships and restarts but lots of fun 🏃🏼♀️➡️ it makes you want to do one again 😍 RAPHAEL
First of all I want to thank Steeven for being with me throughout the race. Your help was invaluable from start to finish. 🙂
This half marathon really marks a step in my development. A year ago, I did 2h09 without a watch, without a real program, just randomly. Today, thanks to the club, I learned a lot in a few months, and it made a real difference.
However, this half did not start well due to injuries. Until recently, I thought I had to give up…
I would like to thank everyone at the Jogging Club d’Épernay, whether it’s the team that runs every week or those who were with me during the preparation.
Special thanks to Fabrice and Steeven for everything they did for us as coaches during this preparation.
JDon’t forget my parents, Céline and Shirley, for encouraging us along the way. It really inspired me. 😄
Thanks everyone! 😘 MURDER
It was the bet of the weekend, following the track but the legs were there 👌
Bravo Mary Gil for less than 2 hours 👏 STEVEN
En speed test module for the marathon in 3 weeks, it works!
5km fast + 10km around the target speed + 6km speed when I’m burnt out but it’s still ok 😅.
RP on the 10km + RP on the half, that’s cool! CYRIL BOULIGAND
In hare mode for Madame 💪
I’m proud of my little lady who never gave up. CYRIL BOULIGAND
The incredible knee, good news 👍 SEBASTIAN TODAY
As in the Vannes marathon, I ran by feel, without a timer, just looking at my times per km.
The first km is a bit slow around 4’30/kilo to the middle of the race and then a gradual acceleration until the end, passing more than 250 runners with the best time in 20th in 4’09 …… It’s ok… …. JC
MAX of photos……..Lots of duplicates but few on the 10km😥
Before you leave with a smile
