– There was a traffic accident in which a car went straight into a tree, activity manager Håkon Hatlen in the Eastern Police District tells Romerikes Blad.
At 20.45 the police were still at the scene at the Nannestad Holter, as no one was in the vehicle. Several patrols were then in the area to look for the people in question.
– Two people jumped out and ran away, which indicates that there are owls in the swamp.
– We are interested in getting in touch with whoever was in the car, both to verify that they are not injured and to find out why they did what they did.
Later Thursday evening, incoming operations manager Trond Lorentzen can say he came into contact with suspects:
– It was a rental car, but we managed to reveal a little who might have driven this car. We have now been in contact with the suspects and believe we have control over those in the car, she says.
The car shouldn’t have had major damage.
– A case will be opened here.
