[Nettavisen:] The contract value is around NOK 2 billion over the next five years, and is the second largest agreement Avinor has with partners.
– Among other things, we facilitate simple and good charging options for electric cars, we will buy electric buses in the shuttle traffic to and from the parking areas, and we are immediately on target with ISO certification on quality and environment, says marketing and sustainability manager in Onepark, Mona Elisabeth Gladhus, in a press release.
She adds that they have bought both climate quotas and certificates for green energy.
Environment was a clear requirement in the tender that Avinor announced in April this year. Among other things, Avinor has committed itself to halving its own controllable emissions by 2022, compared with 2012.
Renewed trust
Onepark has collaborated with Avinor at Gardermoen since 2017, and they have worked to ensure renewed trust at Avinor.
– The competition has been tough and we are therefore very pleased that Avinor has chosen to continue working with us, says Leif Nymoen, CEO of Onepark, in the press release.
– Avinor is without a doubt our largest customer, and very important to us both financially and market-wise. Therefore, it is extra fun that we are allowed to continue. We will celebrate this for several days, he says.
– Seamless service
The parking facility at Oslo Airport is the country’s largest, with room for 23,000 cars, divided into 20 parking areas inside and out, both short-term spaces and long-term parking, as well as shuttle bus traffic to and from the terminal.
– The pandemic has of course been demanding for us as well, but we see that the traffic is now picking up again, and we are ready to receive everyone who wants to get to and from the airport easily and quickly, says Nymoen, and adds:
– We have a seamless service, with camera recognition and automatic payment solution, and we have simple solutions for pre-ordering online, with only a two-hour cancellation deadline, says Nymoen.
