A famous romance novelist goes on tour to promote her latest book with the book’s cover model. As a result of the most unlikely coincidence of circumstances and an attempt to kidnap them both, they find themselves in the jungle. The wild adventure in the middle of nowhere can begin!
In the new adventure film “The Lost City” by brothers Aaron and Adam Nye, there is no shortage of bright names among the actors – Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum play the main roles, Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt are also seen on the screen. As if that alone was not enough to attract attention, more than 25,000,000 US dollars were spent on the promotion of the film on television alone, a lot of money was also spent on Internet platforms, as a result of which “The Lost City” gained a total of 125,000,000 followers on various social networks.
The makers of the film promise that there will be no shortage of fun, just as there was no shortage of difficulties – the filming took place in the jungle, where the entire filming team stood and sweated in the heat, because due to insects and pests, it was not easy to wear short-sleeved clothes or shorts. “And then imagine that all this time, day after day, Sandra Bullock is running around the jungle, jumping, crawling, and doing it all in a shiny pantsuit and high heels…” the directors praise the star of their film.
Interestingly, it was Bullock who chose them for this job, because the actress is the producer of “The Lost City”, so it is actually her film. Bullock’s choice of screen partners has been up to her as well as the directors. But you didn’t have to look for long – Channing Tatum was perfectly suited for the role of a photo model. “When all four of us met for the first time, the harmony was immediate. The way Sandra and Channing started joking around showed that there was something special between them. You think of such on-screen couples – it’s so obvious that they haven’t been in the same movie before,” says Adam Nee.
