For little ones about art and design

“Academy of Little Geniuses” – a series of educational and entertaining programs for children aged three to six.

They address various issues related to the world of art and design in a way that is understandable and engaging for children. Each series consists of three parts. In the first part, the cat Jacques and the bird Dudū face a problem or issue that they can’t really solve. In the second part, teacher Daina (author of the book “I want to be a designer” Daina Gāga-Ēķe) arrives and tells or explains this issue to both characters and little geniuses of the show – both on the spot and those on the other side of the screen.

Teacher Daina always uses visual aids so that children can perceive and understand the topic. Then the butterfly Punktiņš arrives, who always brings a letter from someone who needs the help of little geniuses – children. In the closing part of the show, teacher Daina, together with the little geniuses, performs a creative work that solves the problem described in the letter brought by Punktiņš. Children on the other side of the screen are also invited to do this creative work so that they can learn new skills and make their and other people’s daily lives brighter. The Academy of Little Geniuses is a place to learn, learn, listen, laugh, get involved and create. Watch “Shortcut Films” in all ten series, each 15 minutes long.
