KROEDHERAD: Emergency services went to Krøderfjordveien on Thursday morning after a traffic accident was reported.
– Two cars involved. The extent of the damage is not clear at the moment, the police announced on Twitter shortly after the accident. .
At 09.05 the fire brigade and the ambulance are on site.
– It was a head-on crash. Two people involved, police say.
The two are awake and not trapped. First, one person was reported to have had some pain and was being supervised by on-site health personnel.
Police announced at 09.12 that county road 280 through central Noresund is closed to traffic in both directions.
Police officer Joachim Halvorsen tells Bygdeposten that the accident occurred during an overtaking.
The two pilots are both women. One of these is a woman in her thirties from Modum.
– Both got out of the cars by themselves, says Halvorsen.
Shortly after 10am, the road is still partially closed at Shell in central Noresund.
