News, Lillehammer | Police call to Strandtorget: – Threatening situation

GD has received a tip that the police have moved out with several cars in Lillehammer on Monday evening.

What actually happened is so far somewhat uncertain.

– We are talking about young people who have run after other young people and a situation that has been perceived as threatening, says head of operations in Innlandet police district, Per Solberg.

The police so far do not have a full overview of the sequence of events, but they are driving several cars in the area to make contact with the young people.

– There has been a situation that started at McDonalds. Probably something that just started with eye contact and which later developed into threats. Some have become scared and been chased, explains Solberg.

– Some unseemly threats have been made in this context, but as far as we know, no one has been harmed.

According to the police, around 10 young people are involved in the incident. They are aged 15-16.
