News – Justice | Prison guards accused of assaulting four people on the street

Three supervisors from Fresnes prison (Val-de-Marne) will be summoned to court for attacking four people during the night of Monday to Tuesday in L’Haÿ-les-Roses.

On the first evening of the deconfinement, the three supervisors, aged 21, 24 and 25, drove out into the streets of L’Haÿ-les-Roses and attacked, for a reason still unknown, four inhabitants who were chatting outside.

They stole a wallet

“They beat the men, tried to enter the victims’ homes and stole a wallet before fleeing,” which was later recovered by the police during the arrest, according to a judicial source.

The victims, aged 20 to 35, did not report injuries requiring emergency medical treatment.

One of them was drunk driving

The three monitors are charged with “meeting violence” and the 23-year-old driver is also charged with “theft and driving under the influence of alcohol”, according to the Créteil prosecution.

They were brought in on Wednesday evening and will be brought before a liberty and detention judge on Thursday to be notified of a hearing date.
