A man born in 1977 was found dead in his apartment in Chartres on Monday March 13 by Chartres firefighters. The criminal trail would have been ruled out.

Rescuers deployed the ladder to reach the sixth floor of the building. They broke a window to gain access to the accommodation.

The 46-year-old man was then found dead. According to our information, it seems that the death dates back several days. Police reportedly believed that the victim did not die a suspicious death. The ladder truck left the scene at 10:30 a.m.
The ongoing death investigation will have to determine the cause of his death.
