MAKOKOU (north-east), January 3, 2024 (AGP)- Rodrigue Ibadi, a 49-year-old Gabonese man, was found dead by hanging on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday in the Zoolende village grouping, Mouniandzi canton, we learned from an authorized source.
According to this source joined by the AGP, the deceased was returning from a ground-breaking ceremony for his sister-in-law, which took place at the other end of the village.
When he reached his home, he expressed the desire to eat with his wife. When she was about to make a meal for him, Rodrigue Ibadi left the house with a flashlight and a piece of mosquito net.
He would have gone behind his house to hang himself using this piece of mosquito net tied to his neck, specifies the same source.
A strange act which arouses the curiosity of local residents because Rodrigue was found hanging on his knees. So, would he have been killed before being attached to it, local residents wonder.
To respond, an investigation was opened by the Makokou gendarmerie brigade which went to the site.
Rodrigue Ibadi leaves a widow and six children.
