It is burning in a terraced house on the edge of the avalanche in Gjerdrum. The emergency services are on site.

Just before 23:00, the police received reports of a house fire in the landslide area at Ask in Gjerdrum.
– It is burning in a terraced house with four homes on the edge of the avalanche, says Finn Håvard Aas, who is operations manager in the Eastern police district.
The police state that the house has been vacated.
– It’s a drunk guy. The home is located on the edge of the avalanche and we take no chances considering the avalanche danger. Our focus is to secure the surrounding area, says duty manager Atle Rønning at the East 110 exchange.
Operations Manager Aas says that it is too early to say anything about the cause of the fire.
– We will let the home burn down, says Aas.
On Twitter, police are asking neighbors to stay inside.
– The house is uninhabited and it burns heavily because not much water is used for extinguishing work. Residents in the immediate area are encouraged to stay inside, keep the window closed and turn off any ventilation, writes the Eastern police district.
