The Bèlè Sèt Art association organized its traditional “chanté nwel” on 3 December at the Maison des Essarts in Bron (69500). On this occasion, families and friends were able to gather in a friendly atmosphere to sing Christmas carols, to the rhythm of traditional instruments such as the “ti-bwa”, the drum and the “cha-cha”. A lottery was also organised.

Created in April 2005 and chaired by Chrislaine Dalmazir, the Association Beautiful seven arts, aims to promote the art and culture of the Antilles through the organization of cultural events. Its activities revolve around the Bèlè which is a traditional dance of Martinican origin. The association carries out charitable and humanitarian actions such as the fight against sickle cell anemia. Every year he organizes the Chanté Nwèl which is a West Indian tradition of celebrating Christmas with song.
This year he invited the association Tambou K’Raibwhich shares the same objective, to participate in this convivial event which is a privileged moment of return to sources and tradition.
