Valsera, who was interviewed by the editorial staff of Camer.be, said he was happy to have personally met Maurice Kamto after several years of separation: “It’s always a pleasure to listen to him. Everyone knows the report that I I have with him. I don’t have the opportunity to see him all the time. He was as close as possible to me (ed., due to his presence in France where Valsero lives), it was to see him and to give him a kiss.”
His political commitment pushes him into exile
General Valséro”, 47 years old, named Gaston Abé is a Cameroonian singer-songwriter, lyricist and rapper from the southern region. He has been a support of Maurice Kamto since 2018; candidate for the 2018 presidential election.
On January 26, 2019, he participated in a public demonstration organized by the movement for the rebirth of Cameroon (MRC) of Maurice Kamto. He is then arrested and imprisoned. He was released on October 5, 2019 after a trial and appearances at the military court in Yaoundé.
