The Air Force states that in the coming weeks there will be increased activity from Ørland Airport. Among other things, it will be noticeable in Gudbrandsdalen.
Low-flying will be carried out over a larger area. The Air Force takes into account its exercise and wants to disturb as little as possible. Therefore, low-flying is spread over a larger area. North of Ørland you can experience low flying in the areas around Namdalen, Grong and the Helgeland coast. South of Ørland, the areas around Ringebu, Oppdal, Åndalsnes, Røros, Molde, Ålesund and Kristiansund may be affected.
The flight is expected to take place during the day. The flight is regulated through agreements and will take place over approved areas. In special areas you can fly down to 250 feet, equivalent to 76 meters. In cities, there will be no fighter jets lower than 3,000 feet, corresponding to approx. 915 meters.
The flight will take place with Norwegian F-35 and Dutch F-16, the Air Force states in a press release.
