On Wednesday, June 12th, a “Political Afternoon” on the topic of “Democracies under Pressure” took place in the multi-purpose room of the IGS Deidesheim. Students from the 12th grade of the advanced social studies course presented the results of their project work. The presentation took place as part of an event at which Dr. David Sirakov (Atlantic Academy) gave a lecture on the topic of “Polarization and Populism in the USA”. There was also a panel discussion with former state parliament member Ruth Ratter.

Last week, the WPF NuÖ 7 course went on an excursion to Gitte Koreng’s young bees. We were able to take a close look at the bees, who continued to do their work in peace and quiet, and we were able to enjoy the delicious honey 🙂

At the Open Air of the Badehaisel, bands from the IGS Deidesheim – Wachenheim provided 30.06.2024 again for rock and pop music at its finest. The school band classes (5a, 6a, 9a) are coached by the IGS instrumental teachers and the music teachers Markus Bender and Christine Csenda.
