At 21.55, the emergency services responded to a house fire in Feiringvegen in Eidsvoll.
– There is a fire in a detached house. There are no open flames at the site, but there is a lot of smoke, says Kjetil Ringseth, who is operations manager in the Eastern police district.
At 22.48, the fire brigade announced that the fire had been extinguished.
– There were two residents at the address and both are out of the house. One person has suffered burns, while the other person has ingested a lot of smoke, says Ringseth.
– Required air ambulance
Both people are said to have been taken to hospital.
– One person was taken to hospital by ambulance. An air ambulance has also been requested for the other person, says assignment manager Fredrik Solbakken in the Eastern police district.
RB’s photographer on site says that a person was transported away in an air ambulance.
The police state that the two people are critically and seriously injured.
