A man in his 30s was found dead in an apartment. The police are investigating the circumstances.

On Tuesday night, a man in his 30s was found dead in an apartment in Laksevåg.
The police describe the death as suspicious, and have started an investigation.
After the police were notified at 1830, several patrols and forensic resources moved out to the address.
– We currently do not know anything about the course of events prior to the report to the police, but have launched an investigation into suspicious deaths, says operations manager Jørgen Ommedal in a press release.
Mapping the circumstances
Preliminary interrogations of the family and the circle of friends of the deceased have been initiated. When BA was present the night before Wednesday, the police were conducting a survey in the neighborhood.
At the present time, the operations manager does not want to say anything about the background for the death appearing suspicious. He also will not say anything about who alerted the police.
– It is too early to go into details in the case, says Ommedal to BA.

BA has been in contact with neighbors, who state that it has been quiet in the area prior to the death. They did not notice anything special until the police arrived.
